Silent Rain – 29 Oct. 2015
I climbed up, up, by soundless rain
A mist that hung—
It was the silent breath of lungs
Beneath the ladder ribs which caged
A mountain hearth that thumped.
I climbed up, up those ribs, those I scaled
And at the top I knew I’d sung.
I climbed the mount in silent rain,
As I have always done.
